There’s something that people who produce videos without a transcript need to understand (never mind videos with poor sound like the above).

1. Plenty of people can read at TEN TIMES the speed that a lecturer speaks.

2. The advantage of READING is that you can go back and re-read a paragraph if you don’t understand it.

3. When you think you know what someone is going to say, you can skim thru the material, and thus save time.

For that reason, I very rarely listen to videos. My time is much too valuable.

Most people are auditory/visual learners, hence the demand for teachers, classrooms and power point presentations. These requirements create jobs - how dare you threaten that!
